Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you please give us a 48 hour advance notice. If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours, you will be charged for 50% the cost of the service for which you were scheduled. No-Shows will be charged 75% the cost of the service scheduled.
Deposits
We require a $500 deposit before scheduling Hand Tied Hair Extensions. This $500 deposit is non-refundable. The $500 deposit goes towards the purchase of the extension hair. This means the $500 deposit goes towards both the product purchased and the installation of said product. The $500 deposit is only a percentage of the total cost of the extensions and installation. The $500 deposit will likely be between 20%-60% of the total cost.
We also require a deposit before scheduling Keratin Treatments, Smoothing Treatments, Straighteners, Color Correction, and Fantasy Colors. A 50% deposit is required before we can schedule. We are scheduling out a considerable amount of time for these types of services and last minute cancellations result in a loss of income to our service providers. The deposit ensures you are committed to the process. Deposits are non-refundable under 24 hours for services listed. Deposits, excluding Hand Tied Extension deposits, are 100% refundable 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.
Appointments for a Color Correction, Fantasy Color, and Hair Extensions require a complimentary consultation prior to scheduling an appointment for the service.
Credit Card Requirement
We require a credit card to be on file to book an appointment. Studio J reserves the right to charge the card in the event that an appointment is canceled within 24 hours of scheduled services.
Refunds
All sales are final. If a purchased retail product was broken prior to the time of sale, please contact the salon as soon as possible. We will resolve the issue.
The Studio J team does not offer refunds for services, but we are more than willing to make adjustments when needed. Please reach out to us soon after your appointment if you are not satisfied with your results. If a client seeks adjustments from another salon, the Studio J team is no longer responsible for making adjustments.
Confirmation Messaging
